The Story So Far
Combining an engineer’s logic, a news editor’s instinct, and a photographer’s creative eye, I build compelling web experiences from concept to code
I’ve always lived at the intersection of structure and creativity. My career began in mechanical engineering, where I earned my Master's degree from Brunel University and developed a rigorous, data-driven approach to solving complex problems.
From there, my path led me to the fast-paced world of international media, where I’ve spent several years as a World News Picture Editor. Managing breaking global news taught me how to synthesise massive amounts of information instantly, understand global audiences, and make creative decisions under pressure. Alongside this, my award-winning photography honed my eye for composition, visual hierarchy, and emotional storytelling.
To bridge my engineering mindset with my visual expertise, I certified in UX/UI design with the UX Design Institute and taught myself front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

I understand how interfaces are built and how users interact with them. I’ve put this into practice by designing, developing, and launching digital products for businesses I’ve been involved in, including a bakery/cafe I co-owned and my own photography platform.
I use a unique blend of engineering logic, visual journalism, and front-end knowledge to design intuitive and impactful user experiences. Of course, the website you’re reading this on was also designed and developed by me.
Inside my portfolio, you’ll find a selection of recent projects. If you’d like any more information or need help with a project, I’d love to hear from you.
