The Electronic Nutrition Assistant was designed as part of a future product development project for Tefal: the world leader in non-stick cookware. The project brief was to design a product that Tefal could market ten years from now taking into account Tefals brand values and the rate of technology development.
The first stage of the project was to investigate the future vision of Tefal. This was done by researching Tefals history and current brand qualities.
Tefal also produces other products such as toasters, irons, kettles and steamers along with culture specific cookware such as fondue sets. These products are sold in over 120 countries.
The international brand of Tefal can be summarised by these four statements:
